Our Vision…

We, the people of Gethsemane, are called to be Gardeners for God, dedicated to the spiritual growth of all people.  By sharing our Christian faith with others, we will nurture the seeds planted by the Holy Spirit, and send forth the fruit of God’s love.

Our Mission…

Facing His darkest hour, Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane to share his fears and concerns with God.  Jesus went to the garden searching for support, encouragement, and strength.  Jesus knew that, in that garden, He would find God.  We, the people of Gethsemane United Methodist Church, truly believe this church is like that garden – a place where all can find God.

As a church called to be Gardeners for God, we seek to live out the commission given to us in Matthew 28:19, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…”  We believe the best way for Gethsemane to carry out this commission is by sharing our Christian beliefs with others to nurture the Spiritual growth of all people.
